About C & K Orchards

C and K Orchards was founded in June 2013 as a ‘homestead’ project. Kevin (the K) is a professional trained master baker, and Carrie (the C) is a business graduate and animal lover.  We planted our roots here in Willamina, Oregon by acquiring a few acres and a few goats for milk and for clearing overgrown portions of this old dairy farm.  It didn’t take Carrie long to grow our herd and it didn’t take Kevin long to figure out how much he appreciates making and eating fresh cheeses, goat butter, and buttermilk.  Last year, we decided we would expand our homestead into a working farm to provide the freshest product for our budding bakery business.  We have since acquired a mobile kitchen with a larger commercial oven to expand our capacity.

We are very dedicated to supporting our local farmers and by extension our local economy.  We buy whole wheat berries from our friend and neighbor at Belle Mare Farm and mill it fresh for sweet and nutty breads, scones, and pastries.  We also work in concert with our neighbor farmers at Osprey Farm, Mama Tee’s, Bare Farms, and Supernatural Organic to ensure we have the freshest and most nutritious ingredients available for the products we provide to you. We use our own dairy products such as fresh chevré and poultry products such as duck eggs to provide the freshest, highest quality products to our customers.
