Farm Happenings:

Thank you all for coming out to the farm; we hope you enjoyed the food and festivities. It was quite a site to see 140 people coming together under the shade of a beautiful oak tree  to celebrate food sovereignty, community, health of the land and people who dependent upon it. It was good to see faces of members who have been with us since the very beginning when we started four years ago to new members who just started last week.

We hope that it helps to see the farm, to be connected to the land that nourishes your own body.  To learn by seeing and talking with us about the complexity of farming with the natural world instead of trying, unsuccessfully, to work against it.

As first generation farmers we feel grateful for the support of our community members as we enter into one of the most difficult endeavors. With the average age of farmers hitting a high of 58 years old we feel hopeful at the age of 26-27 that the insurgence of youth like ourselves may revive the farming movement.

This would not be possible without the support of all of you. The commitment to support us as we build the infrastructure, equipment and most importantly the knowledge to grow healthy soils and food.

Thank you and we hope you enjoy the vegetables for years to come.
