Last week we made the most of the weather by setting up our greenhouse out in Willamina. On Thursday we set 22 metal posts into the ground and on Saturday we erected our new 48 foot greenhouse with the help of family. In a couple of weeks this greenhouse will be packed with miniature plant starts which will be transplanted into the field for the Summer CSA.
Now that the greenhouse is up we are focusing our efforts on moving. Packing boxes, taxes and starting seeds will all take place over the next two weeks.
With the weather warming the soil is starting to dry out. Time to work up ground and sow those first few seeds of the season into the soil, starting the cycle again.
